The only place soros was charged or convicted was comics alcohol
and drug fogged head.
Comics is pissed off, his daughter tried to have sex with Soros so
she could win a sexual harassment suit. Unfort, her face and smell
precluded any contact.

Thanks for the link to the nytimes article.
He predicted an economic collapse back in 1998 but the article goes
on to say
that "Mr. Soros thinks that this time he is right." What does that
mean?
Does it mean that back in 1998 he thought he was wrong?

He was right, there was a downturn due to big hedge collapse. . .
guys like Soros are so dam modest they see anything short of
a complete imploding as a bad call.

I don't agree with Georgie on the oil or commod boom, we will
likely see 10 years of rising or stable commod prices, bush has
screwed the dollar and perhaps the world.

AIG today confirms the credit crunch is still in high gear and this
bear market squeeze will evap just as mysteriously as it showed
upward pressue.

It will be interesting to see what will happen after the election.
