It has to be a blatant attempt shore up the dollar by some sort international consortium of huge size to tank other currencies this much this quickly. If you're right (and there's some credence to that possibility), then it's basically an international consortium who understands that, once (not if, but WHEN) the US finally goes under, much of the rest of the First World will either go with it or be significantly damaged because of it. It is now clear that we no longer are a sovereign land.
