Hey, realize a few of you are on the long side of this little promo,
just wondering how few of you reviewed the tar sands purchase
agreement ???
I thought so, none.

http://ca.us.biz.yahoo.com/cnw/080529/ivanhoe_buys_oilsands.html?.v=1

Now, what confuses me is that those nice people at Talisman Energy
sold them a lease which Suncor has surface mineral rights to. . . .
Wait a second, best is yet to come. . . . its not Permitted yet, lol.

This "High Quality Bitumen Resource" is directly adjacent to
holdings of Suncor, PetroCan, EnCana <all really good, world
class oil companies>. The size and scope of these world
class producers begs me to ask, WHY DIDN'T THEY BUY
IT??????
Seems that Suncor owns surface rights, why not complete the
deal???? BECAUSE ITS CRAZY EXPENSIVE TO DO ANYTHING IN THE TAR SANDS
DURING PEAK DEMAND!!!

IMHO it looks like Freidland is out to get the sands project
for purposes of adding to the proven and probable oil
reserves (a huge potential number in the sands, note the
average aquisition costs per BB at .50 and ask why?)

Has anyone seen the budget forecasting for the new plants
and equip? Is infrastructure in place? Native tribal
claims?
The more i read the more i wonder. How long before the shovels hit
the dirt? When will permits be granted or applied for?

Why does IVAN want credit for barrels of oil yet permitted
and why the rush? Why, why, why did Talisman walk away
from a 'sure thing?"

Not being negative, i really want to own this thing long, just
need some questions answered that no one speaks to.

does Canada have a history of NOT GRANTING oil permits to
parcels they've granted ??

doubt that

as for the Suncor not playing ball?... it's money for nuthin'...
they get their nug for just having their name on the paper...
no oil rig, no fuss no muss no bother...
a percentage of the gross... them suncor boys is smart

this isn't so much as an indictment of Ivan, but more of a recognition of
suncors' bidness accumen

Ivan is late to the party and will pay an extra pecentage of the gross to
be close to the big mondo bazuko

Ivan is, yes, paying a premium to be in the thick of things

That's how i makes my money, LOL.
"Do not put your faith in what statistics say until you have carefully
considered what they do not say."

Tribal claims. The natives are getting cancer at rates never before
heard of, do a fast search on Suncor on Youtube.ca it approaching
the post bomb Hiroshima levels according to some sources.

Land mineral right grants come first, second is the permitting stage
followed by water rights and public forums. Who owns the actual
land? Is it Crown (Federal) land? Is it subject to native claims?

I see none of this addressed. And the breakneck rates of growth
have caused the fed and prov gov'ts to delay or reject outright some
mining claims. Syncrude and Talisman are two of the smartest
operators in the biz. Aside from obvious concerns, look at the
second parcel mentioned, has inferior bitumin deposits and has not
been fully drilled and tested?

Concern number 2: the miraculous HTL conversion, if as reported.
would allow high priced natgas to be replaced by sludge if i read
correctly. NatGas emits CO2 and steam. What effluent is produced
by the HTL process - - - see no disclosure on this as they hide
behind
the 'proprietary defense'.

#3. Where are the revenues from sales of its proprietary extraction
process? No license agree with China, the masters of
piracy?

Compare this to PBG.TO Petrobank.

IVAN will in the mix. It is finally in the game. I believe it is going
to take a while but it is moving the right direction. Investors
enthusiasm can move this stock through nice swings. I believe that you
just buy it low and sell on upward momentum.

Under capitalized. How they gonna pay for the infrastructure to
separate sand from oil>Most of the cash raised is going into the
pockets of Talisman.
Good new out of this that you and comics wasted life savings on
is i picked up TLM @ $18.85 it pays a div of 1% a single digit P/E
and management seems to be getting its act together by selling
off inferior, worthless, low grade assets at top dollar.

BTW: I shorted IE.TO again today 20K at 3.04
When a promo starts to re-release its press releases
to keep itself afloat on a day where oil spikes by $6
ITS A DEAD SHORT TRADING !!!!!!
My target is $1.22
I called investor relations at IVAN to ask if the convertable note
taken by TLM had a "No Short Selling" clause. They would not
answer.
WE KNOW WHY, LOL.
