What has he done lately? Bought billions in silver for $4.50 average
and sold at $5.50, missed most of the massive move because he's senile.
Had zero in gold and missed a huge commods move.
Guys a loser, built his fortune on the backs of the poor SOB's he
overcharge insurance premiums to after 9-11 and katrina. Soros is a
better example of a real grass roots investor or speculator.
Soros wants to legalize drugs to bring them under control, buffet wants
a corrupt police society to arrest and raise insurance premiums due to
crime rates. You choose whom is the free thinker.

Sounds like an extreme case of jealousy to me.
Maybe you haven't heard, Buffett is not a trader.
He probably made more with the $1 gain in silver that you will make in your
lifetime.
I'm pretty sure he had his billions before the hurricane and 9/11.

Buffett is just the best investor EVER. His record speaks for himself.
Of course he makes mistakes (who doesn't?) for instance, he bet $21.5
billions for the U.S dollar to fall further versus the Euro and other
major currencies. He lost $1.23 billion when the dollar appreciated in
2005, and I'm not sure he has recovered this money afterwards (he
reduced his bet to $16.5 billion in 2005, when the dollar appreciated).

This article enlightens a lot Buffett investment style, his impressive
record but also the riskiness of his investments:
