$102 Billion In Annual Revenue
America's homebased sole proprietors generate $102 billion in annual
revenue, according to a study released by the Office of Advocacy of the
U.S. Small Business Administration. The study details revenues,
expenses, and income for both homebased and non-homebased sole
proprietors by industrial sector.

Health Insurance Tax Deductions Help Entrepreneurs
Deducting the cost of health insurance premiums may keep self-employed
entrepreneurs in business, according to a study released by the Office
of Advocacy of the U.S. Small Business Administration. The study shows
that the health insurance deduction for the self-employed has decreased
the likelihood of entrepreneurial exit by 10.8 percent for single
filers and 64.9 percent for married filers.
