Subject: Brilliant Ratchford Post!!

Hello Everyone,

The following post was made by a Tom Loge, in the Commodity Cafe
site.
Tom speaks about the SPIN-TWISTY methods that Ratchford uses. What
Ratchford lacks, is credibilty and proof, that his methods are
anywhere
close to being +80% accurate. Just from Rick's recent trades that he
has made these past 6 weeks or so, I honestly don't see anything
close
to Rick's own claims, of being "+80% accurate in his cycle turn date
forecasts."

Does anyone wonder why Ratchford has been so silent, and he hasn't
offered any explanations on his part? Does anyone wonder why
Ratchford
has NEVER replied directly to the posts that I have dug up, and
especially those posts where they reveal the "devious and dark side"
of
Rick? Why hasn't Rick responded about his +43 fake, alias handle
names
and/or email addresses, or his behavior that he showed to Mr 50%, or
what he said and did to GlennMac? One question I have is, would you
want to do business with a person who behaves in this kind of
activity?

By the way, EXCELLENT Post, Tom....Thank You!!

Sincerely,
gerillio.

In Response To: Re: You're kidding, right Erich? Re: Rick (Rick
Ratchford (Analyst - ProfitMaxtrading.com))

Here's another prime example of your "wordsmithing" to twist
everything
under the sun to accomplish some agenda of yours.

Where in Erich's post did he say he learned anything from TT's posted
trades? He didn't. His only reference was to learning from HIS losing
trades. You restated the same exact thing Erich said and twisted it
to
take a shot at TT's trades and by inference, Erich. You couldn't
carry
Erich's jock to a day of trading. You are the mother of all putzes.

You said "... Let's look at the facts here Erich. We are not being
told
WHY he sold at xx or WHY he bought at xx. We just see the buy, the
sell, and the accumulation of losses."

Which happens to be more than you have ever had the stones to post.

You said " ... Now I have to think that you, being a CTA, should know
this. So I'm quite puzzled by your reply here. I just don't see it."

I'm not the least surprised that you are puzzled by anything Erich
writes. I mean, here's a guy who posts his trades including entry,
stop, target and management plan with the reasoning behind the
thinking
each and every day for tomorrow's markets BEFORE they open. A concept
totally foreign to you. A country mile apart from posting some
convoluted market blanketing turn dates and then claiming positive
results days, weeks or months later. Yes, I know you like to say you
aren't in the business of providing trade recommendations but then in
the next breath you taut your newsletter as having given your
subscribers winning trades in the AD, Bonds, etc. How do we spin that
one ... talk about puzzled.

You said "So what am I missing?" In my opinion that would be
integrity
and substance.

You're often read saying that traders can't be successful trading by
using what other traders use and by inference implying you have some
magic no one else enjoys and by subscribing you'll let them in on it.
That, is an absolute crock.

First of all, courtesy of a subscriber, I have read most all of your
materials. While you are an entertaining writer on occassion and
possess a very fertile imagination it is nothing unique or new or
unknown to anyone who's studied cycles. For anyone with an interest
in
cycles there is more substance available for free from Dave Burton
and
John Person (respected cycle analysts - another foreign concept you
will be puzzled by, I'm sure)at the CBOT resources and any number of
other places than I judge to be contained in your materials. One only
has to read any work by Vikram Patel to understand how shallow and
lacking is your work. Your primary activity in this business is
trolling, and, in my opinion, deceptively, for new subscribers as
opposed to bringing trading insights to those in pursuit of quality,
substantive education.

Your recent articles "Break Free of Old Trading Ideas", "Probability
vs
Luck" and "Take In a Larger View" are the most arrogant, self
serving,
ramblings masquerading as the work of a visionary I've ever read. One
of your least attractive facets is your constant denigration of all
other trading methods but you state yours as if it came with the
weight
of having been delivered from a mountain top, chiseled in stone
tablet
form. An effective and committed teacher acquaints his students with
all the accepted thinking, then cites where specifically he
diasagrees
and the faulty reasoning. Then offers up his thoughts and
methodologies
for comparison. Try it.

This is the same Rick Ratchford who came trolling at our other
website
about a year and a half ago spouting his smoke and mirrored system. I
challenged him on several points and offered him an opportunity to
post
trades with me for a week, $1000 winner take all. He never appeared
on
the forum again. Tell you anything?

Rick, by the way, your post in response to my complimenting the
particpants here, UMT, TT and Ron in particular, for a nice week of
trade related posts after your (what? third time stating that you had
no use for this forum and would never post here again ... credibilty,
raises its ugly head again) last disappearance was duly noted. Just
so
we put everything up on the table you should know your reference to
the
"lurker" ... well, the lurker is one of the owners of this website.
Funny, ain't it?

I have been arguing with Shaggy for months to ban you from this
forum.
She finally has succeeded in showing me the light. I hope you stay
forever. My plan now is to actively post here, take issue and
highlight
your moronic attempts to convince unwitting traders that your "work"
contains some substance.

The personality of this forum will not change ... you post, you're
fair
game. You think you got some game? Expect that a bright light will be
shined upon you. That includes Erich and I as well. But, damn, it
sure
is a different tone around here when your gone. But, please stick
around, this is going to be fun I think. My apologies to all here for
this long post, but, this has ben brewing inside for a long time. Ron
still wins the most intelligent post award ... when I grow up I hope
I'll be smart enough to post with his combination of brevity and
being
absolutely on target ...

Hey, Rick ... Do you, Rick Ratchford, trade profitably using the same
products that you sell to the public? Yes or no?

Have you ever been able to string together 3-5 years of profitable
trading? Yes or no?

When registered as a CTA, did you trade and lose money for others?
Yes
or no?

Isn't that the real reason you dropped your registration? Yes or no?

Have you ever even had a 6 month stretch of profitable trading? Yes
or
no?

Have you been in at least 10 BIG S&P trades? Yes or no?

Ever traded more than 10 cars in any of the livestock markets?
Foreign
currency markets? Yes or no?

Brilliant, Ron.
