Questions about hard credit inquiries and your credit score. wangchieh 10-18-2006

Hello All,

I have questions about hard credit inquiries and your credit score.

1. How long do hard credit inquiries stay on your credit report? Is
it 2 years or something else?

2. I heard that only hard credit inquiries from the previous 6 months
count on your credit score. Is this true?

3. If #2 is true, does this mean that they ignore any hard credit
inquiries on your credit report that are 6 to 18 months old when
calculating your credit score?

Thanks!
