They seem well diversified and the credits are decent quality.

What do you think about preferred income funds...safe or just gift
wrapped junk bonds?

Risk follows reward. The 10 year treasury yields 3.5%. My bank is
willing to lend me money at 4% secured by a house with low debt to
equity. This fund has a distribution rate of 9.3%, which has to tell you
something.
