Regular participants on this newsgroup know that untrimmed and/or
lengthy posts are not appreciated here. (We informally define
"untrimmed post" as one containing more than a few paragraphs of
previously posted material, and "lengthy post" as one with more than a
few paragraphs of new material.)
This is especially vexing when done by someone on the "fast approval"
list because it results in our having to take them off that list,
place them in the "review approval" group, which in turn results in
slower approval times for everyone else.
So we ask again that everyone take a few minutes extra to trim and
edit their comments before posting. Henceforth posts from repeat
offenders will be sent to a special file for later review by Zollars
when he has time. <grin>
On the other hand, if someone has something on which he/she wishes to
comment in depth, please consider sending it instead to FAQ editor Tad
Borek's attention mifp_faq at pacbell dot net for possible inclusion
in the under-construction FAQ.
