Loked in Google, but without any luck.

Anyone know a link to someplace listing the "Troubled Bank List" of the FDIC
?

Thanks,
B.

How about this:

http://www.fdic.gov/bank/individual/bank/index.html

I also just got a copy of a report by Richard Bove of Ladenburg
Thalmann who rated banks on two factors. You may be able to get a
copy from him directly at rxbove at ladenburg dot com.

Good pointer. Point of information ....

The FDIC closed two banks on Friday: 1st National Bank of Nevada and
First Heritage Bank NA.

bankrate.com gave 1st National B of N its lowerst rating: 1 star and
CAEL rating 5. Good call!

But bankrate.com gave First Heritage a rating of 3 stars and CAEL
rating 3, the same rating as Bank of America (well, B of A NA,
Calif).

Conclusion: these ratings are not necessarily a predicter of troubled
banks, at least not those at bankrate.com. (Or B of A is at high risk
of failing soon.)

I looked over the weekend. I don't know if bankrate.com scrambled to
adjust its rating for 1st National B of N. But if it did, it
neglected to adjust its rating for First Heritage.
