I've written 3 posts lately, 2 were replies and the one yesterday was
a new posting, asking questions about a IRA-Roth conversion. These
posts have not appeared on the site. I am posting correctly and have
had posts appear before. I'm wondering if only certain posts are
chosen for display? If so, that's OK since it is up to the
moderators, but I'd just like to be clear on that so I'm not confused
when my post doesn't appear.

Obviously you are on the fast approval list <grin> as comments on newsgroup
policy are requested to be made to the moderators, and not through the newsgroup
(see the weekly post, "Posting to MIFP"). So in your case your posts did not
make it to the group because of problems elsewhere. We suggest you try
resubmitting them, and failing that, check with your news server. As for others
who miss posts, see the weekly post for our guidelines as we frequently do not
post those who do not comply with the guidelines (lack of trimming, off topic,
length, etc.)
